On Purpose for a Purpose

Esther 4:14b, ESV

And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

Psalm 139:13-16, ESV

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.

‭‭Acts‬ ‭17‬:‭26,‬ ‭ESV‬‬

And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place,

Ephesians 2:10, ESV

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

I don’t know where you are “planted” today, but wherever it is, you’re there on purpose.

I don’t know your personality or your gifts and talents, but whatever they are, they’re there on purpose.

God placed you where you are for a reason.

God made you who you are for a reason.

God has good works waiting for us which he specifically designed us to do. No one else can be who we are. No one else can do the things God designed us to do the way we can do them.

And God has planted us in a specific place to walk out those things.

May we not be derailed by the lies of the enemy.

May we not be derailed by complacency.

May we not be derailed by fear.

May we not be derailed by distraction.

God created us and placed us where we are in this moment in time on purpose for a purpose. Let's live it!

Oh Lord, thank you for the encouragement from your Word! Please help us to see what you have placed inside us and around us, and open our eyes to the purpose at hand. Amen.
