There is Always Movement

Genesis 28:10-12, 16,  ESV

Jacob left Beersheba and went toward Haran. And he came to a certain place and stayed there that night, because the sun had set. Taking one of the stones of the place, he put it under his head and lay down in that place to sleep. And he dreamed, and behold, there was a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven. And behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it!

….

Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it.”

There is always movement in the heavenly realms.

God is always at work. The kingdom of God is always at work.

All over the Bible we get glimpses of the activity which is happening in the heavens, and sometimes God allows his people to see those glimpses on earth.

But, even when heavenly movement can’t be seen with the physical eyes, it can be perceived with the spiritual eyes. We can perceive the movement of God, even when we can’t see what it is. We can believe in the movement of God, even when we can't see what it is.

So if you are feeling stagnant or stuck today, then be encouraged—there is movement happening on your behalf in the heavenly realms that you cannot see.

If you are feeling scrambled or searching, like Jacob, then be encouraged—there is movement happening on your behalf in the heavenly realms that you cannot see.

There is always movement. God is always at work—writing our story in the midst of his own. And, at the right moment, he will reveal it to us.
